Overview

This is a feature of Marvel Rivals that allows two or more characters to combine their abilities which makes it unique for this game. Here you can read when and how to use them. We will order them based on how much they impact the game in our opinion.

FIRST STEPS – Human Torch/The Thing

Human Torch can lift The Thing into the air and slam him down, dealing damage, launching enemies, and creating a zone that disables mobility abilities.

VIBRANT VITALITY – Mantis/Groot/Loki

Mantis is an anchor and gives Groot and Loki some new features.
Groot gets a new Wild Wall that restores health to random nearby allies and grants them Damage Reduction.
Loki’s Rune Stones grant allies within range a Damage Boost.

DUALITY DANCE – Adam Warlock/Luna Snow

Adam, as an anchor, gives Luna a new ability. She links to nearby enemies. Any damage she deals to linked enemies is converted into Light Energy, which is then transferred to Luna through the link, healing her Health.

PRIMAL FLAME – Jean Grey/Wolverine

Jean, as anchor, gives Logan some extra survivability. When he uses his shift, he gets life steal, and it’s very hard to kill.

ROCKET NETWORK – Peni Parker/Rocket Raccoon/Star Lord

Rocket Racoon and Peni, help each other. Rocket gets web and mines on his resurrection beacon, and Peni gets a new Spider Nest that can also shoot an extra 50 hp armor pack besides webs and traps.
Star Lord gets a teleport to its deployment point from anywhere on the map.

CHILLING ASSAULT – Luna Snow/Hawkeye/Iron Fist

Hawk gets a new, very strong arrow that can go through everything and freezes everyone that hits.
When Iron Fist activates Harmony Recovery, he can heal nearby allies

SYMBIOTE SHENANIGANS – Venom/Jeff The Land Shark/Hela

Jeff extends symbiote tendrils to nearby allies, linking with them. Linked teammates receive continuous healing. When the ability reaches its maximum duration, all linked allies gain a large burst of healing, with excess healing being converted into Bonus Health.
Hela gets slow on her E ability making targets easier to hit.

STARK PROTOCOL – Iron Man/Ultron/Squirrel Girl

Iron Man gives a new ability to Ultron similar to Jeff’s main attack. It goes through everyone, healing allies and damaging foes on its way, making him get his ultimate very fast if you use it at the right time.
Squirrel gets a new ability that has auto-track on the enemy, dealing a little bit of extra damage. Great for finishing targets.

OPERATION: MICROCHIP – Punisher/Black Widow

Punisher gives Widow a new ability. Her gun can now shoot through enemies very fast for 15 seconds. Due to the low cooldown of 10 seconds it makes her damage output very high.

Fantastic Four – Invisible Woman/ Mister Fantastic, The Thing, Human Torch

Invisible Woman gives The Thing, Human Torch, and Mister Fantastic some extra shield protection, enabling them to play more aggressively and survive some dangerous spots.

JEFF-NADO – Storm/Jeff

Combining Ults together, Jeff and Storm create a devastating tornado that eats everyone while damaging them at the same time.

STORMING IGNITION – Storm/ Human Torch

Torch fires up Stroms tornado making it last longer with higher damage.

Mental Projection – Emma Frost – Psylocke/Magneto

Emma, our new Vanguard, became an anchor for team up. She is getting 100 hp, but Psylocke and Magneto, who are already very powerful on their own, got a new ability. They can create an illusion projection of themselves, copying most of your moves except Ultimate. I think Emma will be banned so much just because of this team-up.

Arcane Order – Doctor Strange /Scarlet Witch

They both got removed from their last team-ups and got together. Strange is the anchor and get 100 hp while Scarlet gets a new great burst damage ability.

Stars Aligned – Captain America /Winter Soldier

Cap as Anchor gains a maximum health increase of 100 and a 5% boost in damage output. Winter Soldier gets a new escape ability, now he can leap to his teammates and deal AoE damage on impact. Another thing they added is that they can leap at each other and do damage.

Hulk and Black Panther– Gamma Charge

BP gets a very much needed survivability. Gamma energy gives him shield when he is low HP to have a chance to escape.

Loki and Hela and Thor – Ragnarok Rebirth (LOKI REMOVED)

When Hela takes the final blow, she can instantly resurrect Loki or Thor during the respawn phase.

Imagine you can resurrect a full HP tank in the middle of the fight that took 6 players to kill. Instant-winning a fight, and not only that, but you can revive a healer to protect him if he needs it.

If you have a god Hela in your team who can pop heads you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Groot and Rocket Raccoon / Jeff the Land Shark – Planet X Pals / New Friends

They both can ride on Groot’s shoulders and receive damage reduction.

These two annoying little cuties are already very hard to hit and kill, and, giving them more ways to dodge damage only makes them better.

But be careful when some knock ability is used on Groot as you just fall off him, and you can imagine how it feels for support to be in the frontline. So use it when you have to, never spam it, and you will be fine.

Cloak and Dagger / Moon Knight and Blade – Lunar Force

Cloak & Dagger can inject light and dark energy into (Moon Knight or Blade) to create a Light & Dark Realm where (Moon Knight or Blade) can become invisible.

It doesn’t have a huge radius, but it can help Moon Knight and Blade escape from dangerous spots by not receiving damage.

Hulk,T he Thing and Wolverine – GAMMA FASTBALL

The Thing and Hulk can throw Wolverine.

Wolverine wants to be in your face to do the damage, so this is a great way to cover the distance with him, and also it’s amazing for going in fast and stealing someone with his Feral Leap.

Venom, Spider-Man, and Peni Parker – Symbiote Bond (REMOVED)

If you combine Venom with either of those two he gives them one more special ability symbiote spikes. Spidey becomes so much better because he can one-shot combo a target whenever he has that ability ready.

When you have the one-shot combo, on every 250hp target or less, you first hit someone with Web-Cluster or your Right-click, then, you use your E or Get Over Here, and after that Amazing Combo or F whatever you like to call it, and than Venom team up gets its turn u press C and finish target off.

Peni does not have as much advantage as Spidey does but it feels great to survive dangerous spots.

Removed Team-Ups

Squirrel Girl and Spider-Man (REMOVED)

Spider-Man gives Squirrel Girl a web bomb. She can slingshot it to unleash an explosion upon contact with the environment or an enemy, briefly ensnaring and damaging enemies caught in the blast. Amazing at stopping enemies that get close to you. It’s not that often that you see this combo because they don’t fit perfectly in comp together but it is very strong.

Black Widow and Hawkeye – Allied Agents (REMOVED)

The amazing duo from Avnegners is also a combo in this game. Hawkeye gives Widow his mini-ult making her shots easier to hit.

Luna Snow and Iron Fist – Atlas Bond (REMOVED)

Iron gives Luna a new ability called Frozen Chi. It creates a ring that knocks back enemies, slows them down, and also heals you and your allies.

Adam Warlock, Star-Lord, and Mantis – Guardian Revival (REMOVED)

This one is very annoying. Adam gives Lord and Mantis rebirth power, imagine having to kill 6 enemies, it is already a very hard job, and now you have to do it again because those 3 have two lives on top of Warlock ult that revive again.

Star-Lord, who is already a mosquito and you have to use a lot of resources to catch and kill just revives, and your strategists, after all cooldowns used, have to deal with him again.

On the other side imagine chasing that Mantis, dodging her headshots, dodging her sleep, hard to hit, even if you get her low she just pops ult, and after all that sweat if you managed by some miracle to kill, her she just reborn and you have to do it all again you get in full depression mode.
